Rate Per Month

Customer Charge

NCP Billing Demand Charge $52.50
Transmission Level Service $0.50
Distribution Level Service $1.80

Plus:

Power Cost: The cost of power to service the Customer is the cost incurred by the Association to service the consumer including but not limited to charges for capacity, ancillary, delivery, energy, and fuel charges for the billing period plus adjustments applied to the current monthly billing to account for differences in actual purchased electricity costs billed in previous periods.  The power cost will be calculated using the billing units defined in the same manner as defined in the Wholesale rate to the Association including any ratchet provisions in the wholesale rate.

If the Customer's usage is not metered in the same manner as the wholesale supplier's delivery point and the Customer took service during a period which determined any billing demand to the Association, the billing demand for power cost shall be calculated by applying the wholesale supplier's definitions of billing demand to the Customer's non-coincident peak (NCP) demand for the applicable billing period.

The Customer's billing units for power cost may be adjusted for line losses, as determined by the Association, to calculate the Customer's power cost at the wholesale supplier's metering point to the Association.

Power Factor

The Customer agrees to maintain unity power factor as nearly as practicable.  Demand charges will be adjusted for consumers with 50 kW or more of measured demand to correct for average power factors lower than 95% and may be so adjusted for consumers if and when the Association deems necessary.  Increasing the measured demand by one percent (1%) for each one percent (1%) will make such adjustment by which the average power factor is less than 95% lagging.

Monthly

The minimum monthly bill shall be the greater of the following:

  1. The Customer Charge
  2. The amount stated in the Agreement for Electric Service.

Agreement

An agreement for electric service with a fixed term may be required by the Association.  This rate schedule may be changed by order or consent of regulatory authorities having jurisdiction, or if none, by the Association's Board of Directors.  Service hereunder is subject to the Association's tariffs and rules and regulations for electric service.

Terms of Payment

In the event the current monthly bill is not paid within fifteen (15) days from the date mailed, it will be delinquent.  Bills that remain delinquent at the start of the next billing cycle, that is, on the 10th of the following month, will be assessed an interest charge of 1% of the amount unpaid at the time and will also be subject to disconnection for non-payment.  However, disconnection for non-payment shall not relieve the customer of responsibility for payment of the bill and additional interest penalties which shall be added on the unpaid balance the 10th of each month at the rate of 1% per month.
